Become a part of our fitness community without changing your blog. External blogs can now be included within the Sweat365 community. As you post to your blog, it will automatically be added to the community content for all to see. In addition, joining our community will allow you to use all the other fitness tools available to Sweat365 members.
Here is how you add your external blog to our community
You first need to join Sweat365. Joining allows you to create a profile, and to have access to our free online training logbook. It is also the mechanism by which you can add your external blog to our community. Here are the next steps:
- Go to Dashboards -> Options
- Under Dashboards -> Options, go to “My Other Blog” section- about 1/3 of the way down the page.
- Enter or paste the URL of your external blog
- Hit “Update Options”
- Note: Posts from external blogs will only show if the external blog is RSS enabled. Most external blog sources will be RSS enabled.
- Note 2: RSS feeds are updated about once an hour. This means that nothing will show immediately when you add your external blog.

Thanks guys! I have enjoyed flipping through the community the last week and now can enjoy participating in the sweat365 community myself (and don’t have to give up everything that was sitting outside).
Your hard work is paying off!

Karl, it’s on the list, but behind things like bricks, new training plans, and some other nifty ideas we’re working on. I’m just guessing that you’d rather have post from e-mail than this?

I admit I’m really not versed in RSS or blogrolls, but if I add “my other blog” thru these steps should I expect anything different than adding the same link to my blogroll? Thanks!

nevermind…”I see said the impatient blind one.” So…can the post somehow pull my avatar & sweat365 name as well or is not doing so intentional?

Yeah, posts from email would be right up the top of my list. Now if you could do it by . . .oh . . . Sunday, then I can write a whole bunch of stuff while I’m skiing next week.
(Skiing! Woo woo woooo, etc)

I love this feature. I’ve seen a huge increase in traffic. Maybe the new members are more interested in gardening. Regardless, I’ve seen a spike in traffic since I told this site about “my other blog”. Thanks!

This does not seem to be working for me. I have entered my blog multiple times and it says that it was successful, but then when the page reloads the default text is back in that field.
What am I doing wrong?
