Sweat365 » Cycle with a Purpose
Its been proven that people who have a purpose for every workout improve more than those who just workout. When you show up at the gym without a plan you just don’t work as hard. It’s easy to tell yourself that you’ve done enough. The same is true for cycling.
When you have an agenda for every ride you’ll enjoy your workout more and get better results.
This could include the following:
- Play heart rate games. Maintain the correct zone for each workout.
- Play with your cadence. Varying your cadence can make an easy workout both fun and productive - while still maintaining your recovery.
- Work on your bike handling skills. Pedel perfect cirlces, or work on your cornering skills.
- Do hill repeats to work on your climbing, do sprints to work on your speed, vary the tempo/and or intensity.
Have a game plan for what you want to accomplish on each ride, and see how fast you begin to improve.
