  1. I like Digg - it's nice when people read your stuff & tell others about it.

How about a button (similar to the one to insert the workout details) to put a "Digg This" image with the correct URL into the post. So as well as the Digg This image, you'd get the behind-the-scenes stuff for a submission button filled in. I mean the

    stuff.

  2. Hee hee... Actually we planned to add that in last weeks release. In fact we did for about 10 minutes... but it didn't quite work the way we wanted it to. For sure, we will be adding this soon.

We also will add links for Digg, del.icio.us, and StumbleUpon, all of which are great bookmark sharing services to help people find your great content! If you're not already a user of those services you should sign up and use them. The more you use them, the more credible your "diggs" or links become.

  3. Hey, when you add these things, it would be awesome to add a "newbie" set of explanations for them -- or just a write up with links on what they are & why we should care. :)

  4. Excellent suggestion Garden Mentor. For them to be useful to you and to help you drive traffic to your blog one needs to know what they are, how they work, and why they're worth your time and trouble to learn to use.

I realize we haven't spent a lot of time spelling out all of our help and how to guides. We do plan to get around to that... In the meantime we are counting on people having an existing base of experience around blogging and social networking... for a lot of today's power users, that's not a problem, but clearly we need to build in a lot more ease of use for the masses to be able to take full advantage of the tools.

Oh, did you know you're a power user? :)

  5. He he he! Great minds think alike / fools seldom differ!

Actually a "newbies guide to . . . " would be great. Too many of these social networking tools seem to be written by cool kids for cool kids - you have to really try hard to find their plain English "This is what this service is, and this is how it works" pages.

  6. We've released the new Digg! feature. Check out the News announcement here.

I won't pretend that we've explained all the mysteries of social book marking. But we took a crack at explaining the basics and making it really easy for digg users to digg your stuff. ;)
