  1. The run went well. The only problem I have is tender feet and ankles. Our long run course was all concrete and hilly. I took today off. Tomorrow I should be ready for an short run!

  2. I did 21 miles at 7:55 pace... I ran on the Burke Gilman Trail, mostly sticking to the dirt/gravel path on the side of the official trail.

My body feels pretty good today considering. In fact I think the three Halloween parties and staying out till 1am had a bigger impact on my then the run.

  3. I did my long run today, and felt pretty much the same as Lisa. I can tell today's run was on concrete and asphalt, as opposed to the nice soft trail. I tried to run in the dirt when I could, but there just wasn't much dirt available. I was most impressed that my splits are staying consistent, even with the longer runs.

  4. Next Saturday we'll do a group run on the East Lake Sammamish Trail again. 11 miles on soft surface will be just what we need. :)

  5. The run went well for the first 8 miles. The last 2 miles my hips and feet started feeling the concrete and hills. I was able to maintain a low heart rate (155-165) easily except on a couple of the hills in the last 2 miles and when I tried to match Lisa's leg turnover...ouch!.
I think having water most of the way really helped. I tend to be dehydrated and not drink or eat enough.
Had to drive to Gig Harbor right afterwards which didn't help the soreness or sciatic.
