If you only ever log-in from the orange "login" widget in the upper right corner, there's no option to "remember me" like there is on the log-in page. Makes someone feel like they HAVE to log in every time.
If you do something to get to /login you will get the check box. The login widget is SOOO handy, why not add the equally handy "remember me" feature to it?
