Please create a direct link to "Waiting in Moderation" on the Dashboard. Currently, it's cumbersome and requires too many clicks to approve comments on a regular basis. I suppose this may only apply to those members who dialogue and receive comments, but it would be oh-so-handy!

It may be that you want to change your "Discussion Options" so that more comments go through by default. For example on my blog, I let all comments go through, and trust that our spam filters (built in to Sweat365) will prevent any unwanted comments. It is very rare that I will get a comment in Moderation that was something I would approve. Usually only comments that are marginally spam like end up in moderation.
If you'd like to make most comments go through automatically, then go to your Dashboard -> Options -> Discussion. There is a section called "Before a comment appears", where you can set these restrictions. You probably have a checkbox for either "An administrator must always approve the comment" or "Comment author must have a previously approved comment". If you uncheck both of those, then comments will go through without needing moderation.
If you want to continue to have this control over moderation, then there are a couple other ways you can make the process easier.
First of all, I usually respond to single comments from my email. I get the automatic email from Sweat365 telling me that a comment is in moderation, and from my email client I click on the links that say "approve" or "spam" etc... when I click this link I am taken to a single page on my dashboard that allows me to simple click Yes or No. So it's 2 clicks for me.
Another way to quickly review and approve comments is from the Manage -> Comments page of your dashboard. From this list, all approved and "awaiting approval" comments are displayed, with quick links for Edit, Delete, Approve (or Unapprove), Spam, or View. From this list you can simply click Approve to all your as of yet approved comments.

What about adding a feature to the "welcome back" orange box that alerts us when we need to moderate something...or if we have new comments. I miss seeing the comments on the right side bar when I got to the mainpage or when I go "home".
I find it kind of cumbersome to know who's talking about what these days.

Interesting to read how others approach the use of the blogging site. I usually sign-in at my blog page, then I just go to my dashboard first off. I always see comments in moderation links on the right hand side and go from there. I also get them in email once approved or if they auto-approve so I can read what people have said.
Always interesting to see how others login and work their way around!
