  1. How about a way to follow the comments you make on other people's blogs? With so many new sign-ups to Sweat365, I only make the occasional comment on newbie's "Hi I just joined" posts. But those comments tend to be because something in what they've said in their initial post has really caught my eye.

It would be nice to be able to have an easy way to follow those blogs, but without adding them to iGoogle / blogroll / bookmarks as I don't want to create another housekeeping problem on my PC. I think the generic Wordpress blog has this feature, and if so, is it just a matter of flicking the switch on Sweat365?

  2. That's a good idea, I like that! I usually email people back in responses to their comments because I know I don't usually go back and check people's responses to my comments... since I leave so many around sometimes.

  3. This is a feature we do plan to add. It's not something that's "just flicking a switch"... unfortunately. But we are working on it now.

One thing you could do in the meantime is watch the full comments feed from the site at http://sweat365.com/site-feed/comments/ but of course, that includes all comments across the site, and is therefore more info than you're looking for.

  4. Hey, I know this may sound silly but how do I respond back to a comment that someone has posted on one of my activities? Brad, you recently posted a comment on "my new bike" post but I don't know how to send a reply. It would be great if there was just a "reply back" button. I would love to communicate more but just wanting to know the easiest way to communicate back and forth. Thanks and thanks for the comment :)

  5. KatMat, That sounds like an interesting idea. It's a question people have asked alot about... And we've kicked around ideas for how to make it easier. The question is, not just "how to reply" but also... how do people want to receive replies... Do they want to get emails on all replies to all threads or posts they ever comment on?

Feel free to give us your thoughts.

  6. These are great ideas. I would love to be able to follow up on some comments I make especially when the initial post was a question that a member posted and if they aren't on your friends list it's hard to go searching for them.

Maybe like how on the side of our dashboard we can select recent comments made on our own posts we could select recent comments we've made on other posts? I don't know how difficult that would be as I am a techie idiot but just a suggestion. :)

  7. Lindsey, we do like the idea of having a comments I've made list in your dashboard. The idea is it should show the comments made to posts that you commented on.

So if you comment on a post I made, and then someone else comments, you'll see that post and the comments made to it.

  8. Now your cookin with gas!! I love the idea of the comments I've made and/or that someone else has made to you. I just felt bad there were a couple people that had made comments weeks ago and I didn't know I had to keep checking (silly me) I'm new to this blog stuff. I'm used to Myspace were they alert you when you have new messages and comments.
