Wasted miles

  1. Of late, I've been thinking about my training in general. I'm trying to increase my mileage a bit and consequently, I would be spending more time training.

    This made me think whether I wouldn't merely be adding useless miles?

    Is a short 5km run a waste of time for an Ironman? Is it not better than nothing?

    How can you tell if you're just wasting your time?
