I am getting a little tired of my usual lunch selections. Any ideas you all can offer would be greatly appreciated!!! I need something cheap and pretty quick and easy to throw together in the morning. Right now I typically choose from: 1. vanilla yogurt with fruit, tuna and rice cakes. 2. Low sodium sandwhich meat, yogurt with fruit and rice cakes. 3. Natural peanut butter and no sugar jam/jelly on whole grain or wheat bread and a cheese stick. Sometimes I'll have a salad and am going to add just a simple salad of baby spinach and chicken breast into the mix. Sometimes I'll also add baby carrots or low sodium part skim string cheese to any of those options.
I try to incorporate fish into my meal plans but I have a hard time getting past the "fishy" taste. :) So I can do tuna with flavors, tilapia and occasionally shrimp depending on how it's served. If that makes any difference on what you suggest.
Thanks again!
