improve "Activity Types" in workout tracker

  1. Please add more types of activities in the "Activity Types" part of the workout tracker. Also, it would be nice to have the workout tracker calculate how many calories you burn.

  2. I second that calorie burner calculator. It would be great to not have to use google to find one and then record it on our logs.

  3. If you could upload Polar .HRM files that would automatically fill in the Calories burned; and all the other fields too ;-)

  4. Yes. We like these ideas.

    Actually, for calories burned there are some good research that provides for good estimates, we do plan to add this.

    One of the things we recently did (during last weekends maintenance window) was to make some database changes that will allow us to have custom activities for each persons logbook. So, under the hood we're making progress toward this goal.

  5. This might have been brought up already, but is there a way to log my gear? Like my shoes? I just switched from workoutlog and I liked to keep track of the miles I had on my shoes. This isn't really on the same topic as the previous posts, but I thought I'd ask somewhere. Thanks!
