Heart Rate Monitor suggestions

  1. Need suggestions on entry level monitors. I am really interested in a strapless watch type and have found many different ones. Something with interval timers sounds good. but I don't really need GPS or elevations or compass. and I don't really need upload capabilities. Currently Tri training and working on weight-loss.

    thoughts?

  2. polar. take your pic of which model . . . highly recommend the rs200. it'll run you about $150. great functions. you can save about $50 by getting a cheaper model that comes in pink, but doesnt offer as much functionality. it's an intermediate-price HR monitor with intermediate-advanced funcionality; great bargain.

  3. I have used a polar with a strap. I tried the strapless, and could not get a pulse most of the time!
