  1. I just ran my first 20K yesturday, very comfortably, 2 hrs. 24 sec. It was a flat course. I am also planning on running a half marathon on Oct. 5, but a hilly course, not flat like the 20K. I do not know what distances I should run on the weekends (4 weekends total) in between now and then. I have some hilly routes mapped out. They are 8, 10, or 12.5 mile routes. Any advice is helpful.

  2. What I would do in a case like this is to pick a half marathon training plan, and do the last 4 weeks of that plan.

The idea is that the training you did for your 20K can be thought of as the ramp up to the 4th to last week of your half marathon plan. So you pick up from there.

    Does that make sense?
