  1. Another Sweat365.com user got in touch with me to ask how I'd set up my blog so that my Twitter updates are displayed in the sidebar. Here's how you do it:

To display your Twitter stuff, you need to find your Twitter RSS feed, and set this up as a sidebar widget.

To do this, go to your Twitter homepage, and scroll to the very bottom. On the left, you'll see a little box with "RSS" written in it. Right click on this and copy the link location - it'll be something like http://twitter.com/statuses/friends_timeline/12794772.rss, which is my one.

Then go to your Sweat365.com dashboard > Advanced Settings > Sidebar Widgets, and set up an RSS widget, with this copied link location as the RSS feed URL.

    Ta Da!

  4. Mitch - do you have your twitter updates protected?

  5. Btw, the correct RSS feed you're looking for is more like...

    http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/16662289.rss

Notice that the format is /status/user_timeline/NNNNNNN.rss

Karl's and Mitch's example include friends_timeline which actually won't give their time line but will give a timeline for all the people they are following... which probably requires you to log in to twitter to see... hence why the RSS widget can't slurp it properly.
