We added a fun little widget tonight that lets you add a map of all your Sweat365 friends to your blog's sidebar.
It's in your Dashboard - Advanced Settings - Sidebar Widgets. And it's called "Map". It will display pushpins on a world map for all your friends.

Looks fabulous on your blog . . . but it's not working on my Do It Today blog. Current theme is Leto, and I tried changing to the default Sweat365 one, but I still get a blank space. Does this mean I don't have any friends? ;-)
I added the Widget and saved and saw a blank screen then I went back and added a title and saved it. I see the title but no Map underneath only white space! what else do i need to do?
I added it and it worked for me, but the map is really small. I had to zoom way out to see the country. I only found you and karl on sea because I had a reasonable idea where in the world to look. I love the idea, but the execution needs to be tweaked. Love to see the new ideas though!
Thanks for helping test this everybody, here's what I found:
efranlje - It does seem to be working... it shows 3 friends, and since the 4th friend doesn't have a location listed, it's correctly not showing them. It also centers the map over efranlje's location. So that's working.
LASSIE - It's not working for you because you don't have a location set for yourself. So the map is getting confused when it attempts to center the map.
Karl - I can't see what's happening, since you removed the widget.
Based on this, we have a couple small bugs to fix.
1) Make it do something logical when the current blog's user doesn't have a location set. (Lassie's will start to work after that).
2) Add a user configurable "zoom". Since as efranlje points out, you might want to start zoomed out.
3) Make it support the proper size window area depending on the theme.
Check it out now, I think you'll like how it works now.
@lassie & @efranlje - we change it so it centers and zooms to fit all of your friends. Also, if your location is set as visible it puts you on the map with a red push pin.
@karl, it should work for your theme now, although it will make the widget the same height as the sidebar is wide, so, it's might be small on some themes.
Also, we added a map to the Brooks Run Happy Member list. Check it out, it's lots of fun!
Brad - I just added the map as well and I'm not quite sure what I might have done wrong. I see the title for it, but no map. (By the way, when I typed in the Title I wanted to put in there, I typed it as "Where My Friends Train" and it is showing up as "WHERE MY FRIENDS TRAIN". I prefer not to yell out where my friends train. Just as an added note).
Peter, we'll look into why you're map isn't showing up.
As for the upper case, the default theme (you're using) has always done "all caps" for sidebar titles... it's just how the theme looks. Notice all your other widgets look the same.
Peter, I believe the issue you were seeing is now fixed. If it happens again let us know.
